Moroccan Party Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 400 g canned chick-peas
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 8 teaspoons tahini paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon tabasco sauce

Recipe

  • 1 chop garlic and parsley finely.
  • 2 place garlic and parsley in a blender or food processor. add chick peas, lemon juice, tahini paste, salt and tabasco sauce and process until very smooth. approximately 1minute. scrapping down the sides, as needed.
  • 3 place dip in a serving bowl. cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 4 place bowl in the center of a large platter. arrange prepared vegetables, pita wedges and pretzels and serve.
