Greek Feta Spread (kopanisti)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 lb feta cheese
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh mint or 1 teaspoon crumbled dried mint
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, plus more as needed
  • 6 pepperoncini peppers, chopped (pickled green peppers)

Recipe

  • 1 in a food processor, combine the cheese, olive oil, garlic, mint, red pepper flakes and peperoncini and process until smooth.
  • 2 taste and add more red pepper flakes or peperoncini, if desired.
