Easy Bake Cheese & Pesto

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 (4 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon basil pesto
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350º.
  • 2 unroll dough on lightly greased baking sheet. press seams together to form a 12x4 inch rectangle.
  • 3 cut brick of cream cheese in half horizontally.
  • 4 place one half of cheese on top of the dough.
  • 5 top with 1 tablespoon of the pesto.
  • 6 top this with the other half of cheese and remaining pesto sauce.
  • 7 brush edges of dough with beaten egg and bring the dough over the cream cheese to completely enclose the cheese.
  • 8 press the edges together to seal.
  • 9 brush with egg.
  • 10 bake 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 11 cool 10 minutes.
  • 12 serve with crackers and veggies.
