Pesto Christmas Tree Treats

Ingredients

• Servings: 12
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
• 1/2 cup basil pesto (use your favorite pre-made ~ or make your own)
• cinnamon stick
• 1 red bell pepper, chopped fine

Recipe

• 1 cut the cream cheese in half diagonally, going corner to corner to form 2 triangles. place triangles together. long straight edges together and short straight sides on the bottom, to form a christmas tree shape on a serving plate. (a christmas tree shaped plate would be perfect!) top with pesto and insert a cinnamon stick at the base of the triangle for the "tree trunk."
• 2 use the chopped red pepper to decorate the "tree" -- make the red pepper look like the ornaments.
• 3 serve with your favorite crackers.
