Polish Zapikanki

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup mushroom (washed, cut into chunks)
  • 1 cup onion (peeled, also cut into chunks)
  • 4 rolls (or if you want it to be smaller, cut 1 baguette)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup of grated cheese (your choice! bri, american etc)

Recipe

  • 1 first, mix the onions and mushrooms into a hot skillet (with the tablespoon of olive oil).
  • 2 second, begin frying until mushrooms release water.
  • 3 third, take the mushrooms and onions, and place them on the 4 rolls (or baguette)
  • 4 fourth, sprinkle the cheese on top.
  • 5 fifth, place into toaster oven until cheese melts.
  • 6 take out and let cool for 5 minute.
  • 7 enjoy!
