Philly Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs medium size mushrooms
  • 6 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup natural blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons onions, minced

Recipe

  • 1 remove mushroom stems, and chop enough stems to measure 1/2 cup.
  • 2 cook half of mushroom caps in 3 tablespoons margarine over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • 3 drain on papertowels.
  • 4 repeat with other half of mushrooms.
  • 5 combine cream cheese and blue cheese.
  • 6 mix until well blended.
  • 7 stir in chopped stems and onions.
  • 8 fill each mushroom cap with cheese mixture.
  • 9 place caps on cookie sheet.
  • 10 broil until golden brown and cheese is soft.
