Mushroom And Prosciutto Kabobs

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 12 whole mushrooms, brown are preferred
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 1/8 cup port wine
  • 4 1/2 slices prosciutto
  • 6 wooden skewers

Recipe

  • 1 wipe mushrooms with a damp cloth, then cut in half.
  • 2 melt butter in a frying pan.
  • 3 add mushrooms and a pinch of salt.
  • 4 cook, stirring, over medium heat for 1 minute.
  • 5 add port and cook, stirring, until it evaporates completely.
  • 6 remove from heat and set aside.
  • 7 cut 18 slices of prosciutto into 4 pieces each.
  • 8 thread 4 pieces of mushroom and 3 rolled pieces of prosciutto alternately onto wooden skewers, and serve.
