Leek And Goat Cheese Brulee

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 leeks, and light green parts only, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 (130 g) packages soft fresh goat cheese
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh herbs (such as rosemary thyme or sage)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar

Recipe

  • 1 in skillet heat oil over med heat.
  • 2 fry leeks garlic pepper salt and cayenne pepper, stirring often, until softened and golden; about 6 minute.
  • 3 add 1/4 cup water to pan.

  • 5 add goat cheese and herbs to bowl.

  • 12 broil about 6 inches from heat, until sugar is bubbly and light golden, about 3 minute.
