Crusty Cheese Rings

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1/2 cup grated swiss cheese or 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese or 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

- 1 egg , slightly beaten
Recipe
- 1 combine flour and butter in mixing bowl.
- 2 cut butter into flour until slightly smaller than peas.
- 3 mix in cream and vinegar with a fork.
- 4 stir in cheese.
- 5 form dough into a ball.
- 6 roll dough out on floured surface to 1/4" thick.
- 7 cut into rings using a doughnut cutter.
- 8 place rings and centers (holes) on ungreased baking sheet about 1" apart.
- 9 chill for 30 minute.
- 10 brush tops with egg .
- 11 sprinkle with add'l cheese.
- 12 bake at 450 degrees for about 10 minute or until lightly browned.
- 13 serve hot.
