Pineapple Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup minced celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced onion
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 1. be sure to drain the pineapple really well, otherwise it may turn out more like a dip rather than a cheese ball.
  • 2 2. combine cream cheese, celery, bell pepper, onion, and crushed pineapple.
  • 3 3. divide the mixture in half and shape into two balls.
  • 4 4. if desired, roll each ball in pecans.
  • 5 5. chill several hours or overnight.
  • 6 6. serve with crackers.
