Mushroom Rolls

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • butter
  • sandwich bread

Recipe

  • 1 saute onions and mushrooms in butter until the onions are clear and soft.
  • 2 add cream cheese in chunks.
  • 3 add next 4 ingredients.
  • 4 stir until cheese melts.
  • 5 cool.
  • 6 remove crusts from bread.
  • 7 roll each slice with a rolling pin.
  • 8 spread with mushroom mixture.
  • 9 roll like a jelly roll.
  • 10 brush with butter.
  • 11 freeze.
  • 12 to serve.
  • 13 cut each roll in three pieces.
  • 14 arrange on ungreased baking sheet.
  • 15 bake at 400* for 10 to 15 minutes.
