Pita And Haloumi

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 pita bread
  • 100 g halloumi cheese, thinly sliced
  • 8 black olives, stoned

Recipe

  • 1 heat the pitas for about 2 minutes under a medium-hot grill, then split lengthways along one edge into halves.
  • 2 lay the haloumi on the inside surfaces of the pitas and dot the olives over the cheese.
  • 3 grill until the cheese bubbles and the bread is just beginning to scorch.
  • 4 eat hot.
