Crock Pot Cheddar Fondue

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter (or margarine)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in a saucepan melt butter.
  • 2 stir in flour, salt if desired, pepper, mustard and worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  • 3 gradually add milk.
  • 4 bring to a boil, cook and stir 2 mins or til thickened.
  • 5 reduce heat.
  • 6 add cheese.
  • 7 cook and stir til melted.
  • 8 transfer to crock pot.
  • 9 keep warm on low.
  • 10 serve with bread, ham, sausage or broccoli.
