Oyster L'forno

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups breadcrumbs, fresh
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons basil, dry
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 16 ounces whole oysters (canned)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons dry wine

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 deg.
  • 2 combine bread crumbs, cheese, pepper, herbs, and garlic powder.
  • 3 sprinkle a third of the mixture in a greased 2 quart casserole.
  • 4 spread with the drained oysters, then top with remaining bread mixture.
  • 5 combine in a small bowl the oil, wine and lemon juice.
  • 6 pour evenly over the mixture in the casserole and bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
