My Mom's Hummus

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained (reserve the liquid)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon olive, ideally pre-sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

Recipe

  • 1 partially drain the chick peas, but leave them a little of their liquid.
  • 2 pour everything in a food processor, and process the heck out of it using enough of the reserved liquid to allow smooth processing.
  • 3 you shouldn't be left with any particulate matter.
  • 4 serve with pita bread.
  • 5 crackers would probably work too.
