Hummus Spread

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 cup chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 pinch salt
- ground pepper
Recipe
- 1 in a nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- 2 add next three ingredients.
- 3 cook for 4 minutes or until onions are tender.
- 4 allow to cool slightly.
- 5 in a food processor, combine onion mixture, chickpeas, yogurt, cumin, salt and pepper.
- 6 process until smooth.
- 7 enjoy!
