Garlic Hummus

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 large onion, minced
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas, drained & rinsed if canned (garbanzos)
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup tahini (sesame paste)
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted & ground
Recipe
- 1 saute onion and garlic in oil until vegetables are soft.
- 2 set aside.
- 3 in blender or food processor puree the chickpeas with the onion, garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce, tahini and sesame seeds.
