Sausage-cheese Rollups

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 25
  • 1 lb bulk sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 make small (approx 3/4 tsp) sausage balls.
  • 2 in skillet, brown sausage balls on all sides.
  • 3 drain on paper towel then set aside.
  • 4 mix flour and spices together.
  • 5 cut margarine into flour mix.
  • 6 stir cheese into flour mix (this may have to be done by hand).
  • 7 if cheese/flour mix consistency is too thick, add a little milk.
  • 8 wrap a small amount of dough around each sausage ball.
  • 9 place on cookie sheet.
  • 10 bake 15-20 minutes at 400°f.
