Shadows Fried Dill Pickles

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 cup flour 
- 1/4 teaspoon salt 
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 
- 1/2 cup milk 
- 1 egg 
- 1 1/2 cups dill pickle slices, thin 
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper 
-  oil (for frying) 
Recipe
- 1 mix the flour, salt, cayenne and pepper in a bowl. 
- 2 lightly whip the egg in a separate bowl. 
- 3 add the milk to the egg. 
- 4 heat the oil (about 2 inches) to 325. 
- 5 dip the pickle slices first into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally back into the flour. 
- 6 carefully place the pickles into the hot oil. do not overcrowd. fry until golden brown (about 8 minutes), turning once. 
- 7 drain on paper towels.
