Pickled Banana Peppers

Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon pickling spices
- 1/2 cup water
- banana pepper
Recipe
- 1 use hot or sweet (or a combination) of banana peppers.
- 2 cut 1 slit in the side of each pepper.
- 3 pack peppers uniformly in jars.
- 4 mix together turmeric, salt, honey, pickling spices, and water and bring to a rolling boil.
- 5 pour over peppers in jar and seal.
- 6 prepare one jar at a time so the brine will continue boiling.
- 7 process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
