Edamame And Browned Garlic Spread

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup edamame, shelled
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lemon, juice of

Recipe

  • 1 heat olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat. saute garlic until golden brown, 2-3 minutes. add edamame, and cook another 3 minutes. add salt and lemon juice.
  • 2 remove from heat and transfer everything to a food processor. puree until smooth. add a tablespoon of water if spread is too thick. add salt to taste.
