Mushroom Melts

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
  • 5 1/2 ounces mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 16 water cracker biscuits
  • 4 sandwich pepper jack cheese slices
  • paprika

Recipe

  • 1 1. melt butter in a small pan, add shallots, mushrooms and garlic and saute'.
  • 2 a little. add salt, pepper and lemon juice. stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
  • 3 allow to cool.
  • 4 2. place a teaspoonful on each water cracker biscuit. cut each cheese slice
  • 5 into four squares. place a piece over the mushroom mixture on each
  • 6 cracker.
  • 7 3. place in hot 325 degree oven until cheese melts. sprinkle with paprika and serve.
