James Beard's Raw Vegetable Dip

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, room temperature
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 3 tablespoons beer
  • sour cream, as needed to make dipping consistency

Recipe

  • 1 be sure cheeses are at room temperature. combine the garlic and beer with the cheese, blending until smooth.
  • 2 then add enough sour cream to bring it to dipping consistency.
  • 3 serve on a lazy susan surrounded by a choice of vegetable sticks.
