Ham Rolls

Ingredients

- 3/4 cup milk, scalded, then cooled
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 ounce yeast (1 envelope)
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 lbs ham, ground
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- salt & pepper
Recipe
- 1 mix margarine, sugar and salt in large bowl.
- 2 add egg and mix.
- 3 dissolve yeast in warm water.
- 4 add milk.
- 5 mix well.
- 6 add flour and yeast mixture to bowl, and mix well.
- 7 knead until smooth.
- 8 place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until double.
- 9 after dough has risen, punch down.
- 10 roll out small amounts of dough, creating little circles.
- 11 fill with ham mixture.
- 12 pinch edges.
- 13 brush tops with egg wash.
- 14 bake at 375* 10-15 minutes.
- 15 to freeze: flash freeze cooked rolls on a cookie sheet, wrap and label.
- 16 to reheat: microwave until heated through.
