Pesto Cream Cheese Spread

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- assorted cracker
- raw vegetables
Recipe
- 1 line a 5-3/4x3" loaf pan with plastic wrap.
- 2 in a small bowl, combine cream cheese and garlic powder until well blended; set aside.
- 3 in a bowl, combine parmesan cheese, butter and pesto sauce until blended.
- 4 gradually stir in olive oil.
- 5 spread about 1/4 cup cream cheese mixture into prepared pan.
- 6 carefully spread with 1/3 pesto mixture.
- 7 repeat layers twice.
- 8 top with remaining cream cheese mixture.
- 9 cover and refrigerate at least 5 hours.
- 10 un-mold; serve with crackers and veggies.
- 11 note: to get nice layers refrigerate first cream cheese layer until firm then top with even layer of pesto mix. refrigerate after each layer.
