- 1 (27 ounce) can sauerkraut, do not drain
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oil or 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons caraway seeds
Recipe
- 1 cook sauerkraut, brown sugar, oil and caraway seed until it comes to a boil.
- 2 remove from heat
- 3 drain.
- 4 cool to room temperature for several hours.
- 5 refrigerate.
- 6 serve warm or cold.
