Onion Mash

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 diced onion
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat pan over medium-low heat.
  • 2 caramelize onions and butter in the pan for about thirty minutes or until browned and softened, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 about two minutes before the onions are done, add two teaspoons of balsamic vinegar.
  • 4 put all of the ingredients, including the onions, into a blender of food processor.
  • 5 pulse several times or until still barely chunky.
