Marinated Garlic

Ingredients
- 500 g peeled garlic (about 10 whole garlic heads)
- 200 ml water
- 100 ml vinegar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 100 -150 ml honey
- 100 ml olive oil
- 1/2 lemon, juice of
- 3 teaspoons pink peppercorns or 1 tablespoon sliced fresh chili pepper
Recipe
- 1 measure water, vinegar and salt into a pot.
- 2 add the peeled garlic cloves and boil for five minutes.
- 3 remove the pot from the stove and add the honey, olive oil, lemon juice and the spices, stir to combine.
- 4 divide the cloves into clean glass jars and pour the marinade on top.
- 5 close the jars tightly and allow to sit in the fridge for at least 2 days.
