Really Good Salsa

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can del monte mexican-style tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Recipe

  • 1 drain tomatoes and reserve liquid.
  • 2 chop tomatoes into desired size pieces.
  • 3 put tomatoes and reserved liquid into small sauce pan.
  • 4 add all other ingredients.
  • 5 cook over low heat to blend flavors.
  • 6 cool and refrigerate.
  • 7 serve with a good restaurant-style corn chip.
