Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (19 ounce) can chick peas, drained
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup roasted red pepper (substitute with 1/2 tsp. chili flakes or cayenne pepper)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon tahini
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place all ingredients in blender and purée until smooth. traditionally humus is served with warm or grilled pita bread; you can also serve it with vegetables or your favorite crusty bread.
