Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Ingredients

- 1 (19 ounce) can chick peas, drained
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup roasted red pepper (substitute with 1/2 tsp. chili flakes or cayenne pepper)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 teaspoon tahini
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 place all ingredients in blender and purée until smooth. traditionally humus is served with warm or grilled pita bread; you can also serve it with vegetables or your favorite crusty bread.
