Pizza Loaf

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb loaf frozen bread dough (or pizza dough)
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces pepperoni
  • 1/2 lb of cooked ground sausage
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar pizza sauce

Recipe

  • 1 on a greased baking sheet, roll out the thawed dough into a 15 x 11 inch rectangle.
  • 2 in a bowl, combine the egg whites, parmesan cheese, oil, parsley, oregano, garlic and pepper. brush over the dough.
  • 3 sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and sausage.
  • 4 roll up jelly-roll style, starting with the long side. pinch seam to seal and tuck ends under.
  • 5 please seam-side down, brush with remaining egg mixture. (do not let rise.).
  • 6 bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 7 warm the pizza sauce, serve with sliced loaf. (yields about 10 slices.).
