Ken's Fried Potatoes

Ingredients

- 2 -3 russet potatoes
- 1 quart whole milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 egg whites
- vegetable oil (for deep frying)
Recipe
- 1 peel skin off potatoes. clean potatoes.
- 2 cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/2 inch or less.
- 3 let potatoes soak in milk half hour or longer.
- 4 meanwhile, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- 5 in a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until bubbly.
- 6 dip potatoes into egg whites, then into flour mixture.
- 7 deep fry a few potatoes at a time for 5-6 minutes.
- 8 drain access grease from potatoes when done.
- 9 serve hot.
