Italian Butter

Total Time: 4 hrs Preparation Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 mix the garlic, oregano, basil, thyme and black pepper in a bowl.
  • 2 beat in the softened butter until well combined.
  • 3 put the mixture on a piece of wax paper and roll it into a tube.
  • 4 refrigerate for at least three hours to allow the flavours to blend.
  • 5 allow the butter to come to room temperature before serving, so that it will spread easier.
