" Home-churned" Butter

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 50
  • 2 1/2 lbs butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk

Recipe

  • 1 allow 2 1/2 lbs. butter to come to room temperature for about 1-2 hours.
  • 2 beat with electric mixer, adding 1/2 t. salt, 2 cups buttermilk until light and fluffy.
  • 3 keep refrigerated in a covered container.
