Garlic Olives

Total Time: 24 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 24 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups canned green olives, drained
  • 2 garlic cloves, slivered
  • 3 slices lemons (thin slices)
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 3 bay leaves
  • whole sprigs dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup sherry wine (i use sherry) or 1/4 cup vinegar (i use sherry)
  • olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 combine olives, garlic, lemon slices, peppercorns, bay leaves, sprigs of oregano and sherry in a jar. add oil to cover.
  • 2 marinate at least 24 hours or overnight to blend flavors.
