Rum Bath (dipping Sauce For Bread)

Total Time: 6 mins Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup dark rum

Recipe

  • 1 in sauce pan, bring sugar, butter and water to boil and remove from heat.
  • 2 with warm bread on rack, poke holes in top of bread using chop stick or similar long, sharp object.
  • 3 drizzle rum bath down the holes.
  • 4 or simple cube the loaf and use the rum bath for dunking.
