Ingredients

- 4 ripe plums
- 4 ounces goat cheese (chevre)
- fresh mint sprig
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers
- 1/4 cup sugar
Recipe
- 1 halve plums; remove stones. place plum halves cut sides up on dessert plates.
- 2 fill center of each plum half with a dollop of cheese. gently press halves together to reassemble plums.
- 3 insert a mint sprig in the stem end of each plum.
- 4 crush lavender with sugar in a mortar; sprinkle over plums.
