Plums With Chevre And Lavender Sugar

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 ripe plums
  • 4 ounces goat cheese (chevre)
  • fresh mint sprig
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 halve plums; remove stones. place plum halves cut sides up on dessert plates.
  • 2 fill center of each plum half with a dollop of cheese. gently press halves together to reassemble plums.
  • 3 insert a mint sprig in the stem end of each plum.
  • 4 crush lavender with sugar in a mortar; sprinkle over plums.
