Goat Cheese And Asparagus Pizza

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 basic pizza dough
  • 1 cup asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 (798 ml) can seasoned diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup genoa salami, slivered
  • 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • cornmeal

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 450f and sprinkle a baking sheet with cornmeal.
  • 2 roll out dough to desired thickness and lay on baking sheet.
  • 3 drain the tomatoes and spread evenly over the dough. toss asparagus with olive oil; spread on tomatoes. top with salami.
  • 4 bake for 5 minutes, then remove from oven and sprinkle with goat cheese (and chili flakes). return pizza to oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese has melted.
