Johnny's Chicken Wings

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups orange juice

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet over a low/med heat saute chicken wings in butter and garlic until wings brown.
  • 2 mix brown sugar and orange juice, add to the pan and finish cooking wings. sauce should not be boiling, but a gentle simmer.
  • 3 wings should have a nice glaze and the meat should be about falling off the bone when they are done.
  • 4 if needed you can add more juice as the wings cook.
  • 5 note: move the wings around as they cook so that they cook evenly and don't brown too much on one side. don't cook over too high a heat, the butter and garlic will burn quickly and the orange juice will cook off too quickly. you can also put a lid on the pan after adding the orange juice and brown sugar to help slow evaporation and reduce spatters.
