- 1 peel potatoes.
- 2 boil potatoes until soft, then strain.
- 3 chop garilc.
- 4 with flat side of a knife, work garlic into salt until a paste forms.
- 5 place potatoes and garlic paste in a food processor.

- 7 add vinegar.
- 8 add olive oil slowly until the mixture becomes unified.

- 1 make the dough. mix lard or butter with a warm water and caraway, and knead into dough of homogeneous consistency. roll it to 3-5 millimeters thickness. cut out round shapes with a round object (examples, glass or bowl). turn up their edges with height of about 2 cm. place on a baking tray.
- 2 make the potato filling: mash boiled potatoes, add milk, butter and salt. put a layer of the potato mass on each dough patty until one-third full.
- 3 make the carrot filling: boiled carrots (unpeeled) smash or rub through a sieve and mix with honey, sour cream and eggs. top the layer of carrot paste on the potato mass and complete the filling.
- 4 bake in a moderate heat until the filling becomes light brown or golden and the dough turns dry and crusty.
- 5 just after baking, cover the tarts with sour cream mixed with some honey and vanillin. scatter with cinnamon as desired.
- 6 serve warm or cooled with milk, buttermilk or "skabputra" (sour porridge).

- 2 -3 tablespoons old el paso mild taco sauce
- salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon lemon juice, from a bottle (it's all i had..works in a pinch!)
- 4 small flour tortillas (or corn, but i like flour)

- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 cut avocados and scoop out the pulp into a bowl. mash the devil out if it (if you like it chunky, leave it chunky).
- 3 stir in the taco sauce (more if you like it).
- 4 salt it to taste and add the lemon juice.
- 5 place plastic wrap over the surface and refrigerate until the chips are done.
- 6 for the chips: cut into fourths; brush with a dab of oil (or not for low-fat people).
- 7 place on a cookie sheet and bake until just lightly browned. place on a serving tray with the bowl of guacamole and serve.
